- I am very organized.
- I live by my calendar and lists.
My name on here should be "List Girl" because if it is not on my list of stuff to do I will not do it and if I do I have a bit of anxiety. I don't do well with changes.
So when I had a bazillion things to do last night after laying out the school paper and I got home later than I had planned I had a breakdown to say the least.
I planned to get home at around 6:00
but as I walked out of the office to my car and was called by my co editor that my pages I had just worked 5 hours on were the wrong dimensions I didn't take it lightly.
I went in there and spent another hour or so fixing it.
Now today I have all those a bazzilion things to do plus more. I am not a normal person who can handle a million obstacles on her plate. I got it from my mom but my stress level is high all the time no matter if I have one task on my agenda that day. Also my anger management could use a little help :)
I am not a procrastinator though, I use to be the girl that you could count on to be late to all occasions but now punctuation is key for me. I think out of my whole collage experience the number one thing I learned was not to be late. How awkward is it walking into a classroom full people?! EEk.
But yesterday I did come prepared.
I worked out with Jillian Michaels. Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. If I could meet one person it would be Jillian. We have a love, hate relationship when we workout together. She is the modern day tae-bo.
I use to hate workout videos but when I went to college they helped me lose the freshmen 15. I didn't gain but lost more than 15 pounds my first year of college all with the help of Billy Blanks and Jillian Michaels and in the later years the Shaun T. and the guy from P90x.
The key is to incorporate a mixture of videos to keep your body guessing. Also add a few weightlifting videos in to the week to keep your body transforming.
After a workout I like to make a protein shake. While making my protein shake yesterday I made a snack to take to school. I usually don't have time but lately I have been making more effort to find time to come prepared.
Yesterday was cut up apples and Justin's Almond Butter.
Larabar on the side!
I use to eat Luna Bars like they were going out of style but I didn't like that I many ingredients stuffed into a bar. Larabars have a date base with at most 4 more ingredients. All names you can pronounce.
My protein shake consisted of
water
pineapple
GNC protein powder Be Buff
ice
I still haven't decided if I like this protein powder. I can see how it affects my body in a good way but the taste and texture is something you have to get use to. It isn't bad but it is not my favorite.
I usually try to take Be Wholesome and Be Hot vitamins. I can't really see a difference with these pills except for the fact they make me feel sick from time to time. Make sure you have lots of food in your belly when you take them.
So after eating healthy all day what did I turn to at 10:00 at night when I finally got home.
Yup, Pizza. You little devil, you.
Two slices of cheese and a few breadsticks.
Let's not talk about my late night choices.
But I woke up this morning and drove home to Savannah to be with my mom and to study for my finals. I had a bowl of blueberry special K with some coffee and Almond Milk.
I also snacked on some whole wheat bread and olive oil/vinegar but my dog ate most of my bread.
But how can you resist this face?
Have a good Thursday. Happy Studying for Finals weekend!
I've been using Vega protein powder, created by vegan athlete Brendan Brazier. They are pretty good and come in multiple flavors, plus, you can get packs that are simply protein powders, or more meal replacement with greens and probiotics, etc.
ReplyDeleteApples and raw almond butter; one of my fave snacks! :)
