Woke up this morning with whole list on my mind.
First I had to eat breakfast.
This my friends is a typical breakfast.
Green Monster Tropical Smoothie
frozen banana
blueberries
pineapple
almond milk
loootsa spinach
Cascadian farms and Justin's nut butter on top
This may look like a lot but the spinach chops up really fine. You must leave the blender running as long as possible. You don't want to chew your smoothie!

I have been leaving out my greek yogurt. I am trying to limit my take on dairy. I am not ready to become a vegan but I have read many times deleting milk from your diet will help digestion.
Anyone have experiences with eliminating dairy from your diet?
In other news I broke my 5k record this weekend...on the treadmill. I totally wanted to go out and buy myself a medal, but I resisted.
But I kept running and hit 4 miles at 33 minutes.
I have thought about completing insanity or P90x but something about keeping on a plan intimidates me. Which is weird because if you see my calendar I plan out my ENTIRE life. But with a workout I like to mix it up. I like to have cardio some days and some days I like to lift. I have not once seen a workout video that is 100% right for me and my body so I follow Jo's Plan.
This week it looks something like this:
Monday: Jillian Michaels trouble zones (weights)
Tuesday: Jillian Michaels cardio blast (cardio)
Wednesday: Insanity
Thursday: 2-4 miles and lift
Friday: 2-4 miles and lift
Saturday: elliptical for an hour?
Sunday: Tae bo?
I have to mix it up. I also plan to workout everyday but if something gets in the way and I don't have time I will skip a workout but I don't feel myself until I workout.
But the big event looming over my head is my car.
This summer I went from this:
2002 Kia Sportage...or a pile of junk.
To a 2003 Limited Jeep liberty
Yes it is a used car but was only owned by one previous owner and was in BEAUTIFUL condition. I had to get a new car because what I was driving did not feel safe and always broke down.
DUN. DUN. DUN.
My car does not like to turn on anymore. I keep telling myself she is just a bit tired and she just needs to sleep it off. I went to Orielly's where they told me my battery is good but the engine is reading a message they didn't know. They suggested taking it to Goodyear.
Long story short. Goodyear took advantage of a young girl and told me it was the battery. They sold me a battery for $150 and sent me on my way until a few hours later my car STILL did not want to start.
Tomorrow I am making my long journey back to Savannah to have it looked at by our trusty local mechanic.
But for today,
It is rainy and cold. I keep looking outside watching the stray kittens. A gray/white mom and her four little white babies live under the porch next door. I don't know who to call to rescue them from the oncoming set of the Missouri Winter. Can you even rescue wild cats?
Tonight I am making a special type of bread. If I have any luck you will get the recipe by morning! Sorry I haven't posted much dinner but this week is busy and I must resort to Amy's frozen dinners. Which I totally recommend for busy days/nights.
Stay tuned!
