I got hooked baking bread when I made my first pumpkin bread last week. Now I am changing little things here and there to discover the perfect bread. This was so good I can't keep my hands out of the pumpkin bread jar!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- chocolate chips
- 1 15 oz. can of pure pumpkin
- 1 banana
- T baking powder
- t baking soda
- 3 organic eggs
- nutmeg all spice and cinnamon
Directions
- Mush up banana.
- Mix pumpkin, sugar, butter,banana and eggs together.
- Set aside.
- Mix all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda,cinnamon, all spice and nutmeg.
- Add chocolate chips
- Add dry ingredients slowly to wet ingredients. A few tablespoons at a time and mix.
- Fold into any cake pan.
- Top with cinnamon and nutmeg
- Place in oven at 350 F for about 40 minutes. Check occasionally, oven times vary.
